Advanced Profile Fields!
« on: September 08, 2010, 05:15:48 AM »
Just wanted to let everyone know that we have some custom HCV specific profile fields within members profile pages that members can edit within their profile page. These are of course optional to use, but they do allow other members to know a little bit more about your HCV condition, especially when discussing HCV related matters with you within the boards, especially our online nurse practitioner .  We will be adding new fields on profile pages over the next few weeks, so be sure to check your profile page and update as desired.

Note: The fields for HCV genotype, Treatment Therapy Success.... AND ...... Treatment Therapy Countdown have the added feature of appearing under each members icon and title within topic posts for quick general reference by members within the boards. Therapy countdown is a field which members undergoing treatment can update each week during their treatment therapy. It allows them to countdown their treatment weeks and lets members know how long you have on treatment as well. So be sure to update this field weekly.

REMEMBER: Guests are not able to view or read members profile pages. Profile content is only viewable by other registered members who have posted at least 5 postings.

I can't post my picture, it says it is either too large or it is not an avatar. I have tried several different ones, even avatars. So what are the specifications? Do they have to be Gifs? What is the file size limit? Also, every time I try to change it, my default status goes back to Undetectable and I have to change that to relapsed.

Avatars need to be 65 X 65 pixels and can be either jpg, bmp, png or gif file types.

Ok, I'm being lame. But how do I upload a photo? It says to upload the URL. What does that mean? Does the picture have to be online somewhere or can I upload it from my pictures on my computer?
Thanks

I uploaded mine.  Let me go back over and figure out how I did it.  I will post in a bit.
