Cowboy,

My mom is my sole support through this treatment and she posts in the caregivers forum.  Caregivers go through a lot watching us fight this battle.  Let her know that forum is a great place to get her own support.

For you, congrats on getting started!!!  I highly recommend antidepressants if you have any feeling at all that you may need them.   I did not get a class either, just a dvd from the drug manufacturer which really did not tell the whole story.  You have a great group here, keep posting questions as they come up and we will help you walk through this.

I hated water too, I got some of the Green Tea to go packets - decaffeinated and that helps, I pour it in my water bottle.

Along with lots of water, I drank a bottle of G2 daily for the electrolytes. It has less sugar than Gatorade.

Now they have that vitamin water that is good. Also, those individual powder packets that you add to water are good. Crystal light and special K have them in your grocery store.
