Meet the in-laws
« on: September 05, 2010, 10:35:47 PM »
I will be hauling poor Viper back to South Dakota to meet the In-Laws, and I mean "ALL" the in-laws. It is a celebration of my Dad's 80th birthday. All my siblings, children, and many other Johnson's will be in attendance in the small town of Britton, South Dakota!  ;D ;D ;D :o :o

DJ, I was reading your post while talking to Viper. Right after I finished reading it he told me about it. I hope you have a great time seeing all of your family.

DJ, all of my kids have moved in and out several times. It's hard not to mother them like you did when they were teenagers.  >:(   Reminds me of the movie "They Come Back, Don't They?"

Not to get all "teacher" on you.  But one of the things we study in psychology is the phenomenon of how children (regardless of age) revert back to the same behaviors they exhibited when they were younger, if the move home for an extended period of time.
I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.    Hunter S. Thompson

My oldest son Cary that has lived with me for five years comes and goes without a word. It drives me crazy. If I do it or don't come home right after work he's calling me asking me where I'm at. So what's up with that?

AS we are talking family's....
My Son Kori is going to the USA around April next year for 6 months holiday...
He is looking to find digs for around a month at a time in different areas of the US, so far I have found him places with 3 familys...just need a few more...
He will pay rent and only wants a bed and access to a shower, no meals, he is a good considerate boy, well not a boy he is 32, he is in the London Police  (Met) so sort of respectable..LOL...
If you feel you could offer him a space would you Pm me?....
Have fun with your daughter Dawn, not sure my kids would ever want to move back in with me..PX
